The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced the commencement of applications for its Direct Short Service Course (DSSC) 34/2025, calling on qualified Nigerian graduates to seize the opportunity to serve the nation with dedication and professionalism.
According to the announcement, the online application portal will be open from 27th August to 7th October 2025, and the exercise is completely free of charge.

The DSSC enlistment covers a wide range of professional fields, including medicine, engineering, law, education, and other specialized disciplines. Successful applicants will undergo intensive military training designed to equip them with the skills and discipline required to contribute effectively to national defense and security.

It also cautioned applicants against engaging with fraudsters or paying money to anyone, reiterating that the DSSC recruitment exercise is transparent and merit-driven.
The NAF noted that the Direct Short Service scheme provides an avenue for highly skilled Nigerian professionals to join its ranks, strengthen the force, and play an active role in safeguarding the nation’s territorial integrity.
