Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has declared his administration’s commitment to securing a major victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking on Friday at the Governor’s Office in Akure while receiving executive members of the City Boy Movement, a prominent pro-Tinubu political group, Governor Aiyedatiwa launched the “Ondo For Tinubu 2027” initiative, pledging to deploy the full support of the state government machinery.
The delegation, led by State Coordinators Mr. Oluwafemi Ayejusunle and Hon. Tomide Akinribido, visited to brief the Governor on the group’s organizational structure and grassroots mobilization strategy, while seeking state collaboration ahead of the upcoming election cycle.
Commending the group’s advocacy for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, Governor Aiyedatiwa stated that his administration’s achievements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and job creation serve as a practical foundation to mobilize voter support.

His vision aligns with our work in Ondo, and our people will reward that at the polls in 2027.”
The Governor assured the City Boy Movement and other aligned political organizations that support groups working toward the All Progressives Congress (APC) agenda in the state will receive necessary backing to execute their grassroots operations.
Earlier, delegation leader Mr. Ayejusunle praised the Governor’s leadership and alignment with the central administration, promising that the group would intensify voter awareness efforts across the state’s wards and local government areas.
