The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has secured a landmark three-year title sponsorship deal with Warsaw-based investment firm EuroMatch, valued at over $7.5 million. Formally announced in Abuja on August 26, 2026, the partnership ends a nearly ten-year drought without a conventional title sponsor for the league, positioning EuroMatch at the center of the competition’s commercial identity while offering the NPFL vital financial stability to upgrade its infrastructure, elevate its profile, and support its clubs.
EuroMatch Group specializes in scaling technology ventures within the global gaming ecosystem, operating flagship B2C sportsbook EuroMatch alongside its B2B software platform provider, GB2B. The group brings international iGaming expertise and proprietary technology to Nigerian football at a pivotal moment, as domestic organizers seek to build a more sustainable structure for players, clubs, and supporters alike.
The sponsorship coincides with significant overhauls to the NPFL’s digital and media distribution strategy. Following the recent conclusion of its broadcasting agreement with Propel Sports Africa, the league partnered with multi-channel network Murphy Ben International (MBI) operator of Aforevo TV and Vybz 94.5 FM, to offer free HD live streams and delayed match broadcasts via the official NPFL YouTube channel.
Together, the EuroMatch investment and the MBI streaming partnership signal a new commercial era for Nigerian football. The combined strategy aims to expand the league’s digital audience, enhance matchday experiences, and provide domestic players with greater exposure both locally and internationally as further operational details of the agreement unfold.
