Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has approved a series of new appointments across several state boards, commissions, and advisory roles, effective immediately.
As announced by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, on September 11, 2026, the restructuring includes the appointment of Mr. Femi Fadairo as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties and Strategy, replacing Hon. Gani Mohammed, who has been redeployed to serve as Special Adviser on Mines and Mineral Resources.
For the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, Mrs. Brown Ademilegun has been appointed as the Full-time Chairman, alongside Hon. Christopher Olorunfemi and Dr. Olarewaju Oyelade as Full-time Members, with Hon. Tayo Fayanju, Hon. Maurice Oripelaye representing ALGON, and Comrade Ayodele Samuel Leke representing NUT serving as Part-time Members.
The Ondo State Local Government Service Commission is now chaired by Pastor Segun Ayerin, supported by Dr. Bunmi Eniayewu, Barr. Ogbaro Oyerinde, Mrs. Ronke Ojo, and Mr. Alonge Niyi Dennis as Full-time Members.
Religious welfare boards were also reconstituted, with the Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board to be chaired by Alhaji Adam Chandy, alongside members Alhaji Muhammad Kamaldeen Akinyemi, Alhaji Akorede Nuren Olatunde, Alhaja Fausat Olorunyomi, and Alhaji Abdulrasheed Olawoye.
Meanwhile, the Ondo State Christian Welfare Board will be headed by Pastor Peter Abimbola as Chairman, with Rev. Fr. Patrick Adebayo, Pastor Mrs. Omoyemi Bosede Ore, Prophet Emilere Arabija Aiyedatiwa, and Rev. Jide Baptist serving as members. Additionally, Mr. Oluyemi Fashipe has been appointed as the Chairman of the Ondo State Consumer Protection Agency.
Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated all the newly appointed officials and charged them to perform their duties with total dedication, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to the overall progress and best interests of the people of Ondo State.
