The Executive Chairman of Akure North Local Government, Hon. Johnson Ogunbolude, has congratulated Hon. Kolawole Babatunde on his emergence as the new State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State.
In a statement issued by his media team, Ogunbolude described Babatunde’s election as well-deserved and a testament to the confidence reposed in him by party leaders and members across the state.
He noted that Babatunde’s leadership comes at a crucial time in the life of the party, expressing optimism that his experience, academic background and progressive ideals would reposition the APC for greater unity, inclusiveness and sustained electoral success.
The council chairman also commended the peaceful conduct of the state congress, describing it as a reflection of the party’s commitment to internal democracy and discipline.
According to him, Babatunde’s emergence represents not only a personal achievement but a collective milestone for party faithful who believe in purposeful and people-oriented leadership.
Ogunbolude expressed confidence that under the new chairman’s stewardship, the APC in Ondo State would witness renewed strength, deeper internal democracy and stronger grassroots engagement across all regions of the state.
