According to the statement, Otunba Stephen Fasawe was commended for single-handedly constructing the Amotekun Corps House in Iju-Odo and providing a generator for the facility, a project valued at about ₦30 million. The development, the community noted, has greatly boosted security infrastructure in the town.
Similarly, Bamidele Omosehin was lauded for donating and installing a 300KVA transformer, worth approximately ₦20 million, which has restored electricity and brought renewed hope to residents.

“These landmark projects reflect the deep love and commitment of our sons to the growth and transformation of Iju-Odo and neighbouring towns. They are trailblazers and shining examples of community-driven leadership,” Prof. Enikanselu stated.
The community also highlighted that both men are proud members of the OMAWA Club of Ikaleland, with Otunba Fasawe currently serving as President, while Chief Omosehin is a distinguished member.
Beyond infrastructure, Omosehin who is also an aspirant for the Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC) was further celebrated for his philanthropy and youth development efforts in the Southern Senatorial District of Ondo State.
Through his Bamidele Omosehin Foundation (BOF), he has consistently sponsored annual football competitions across the district for the past five years, investing millions of naira to promote sports, talent discovery, and unity.
