Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has officially assigned portfolios to the 16 newly inaugurated commissioners who joined the State Executive Council on Monday. The appointments cover key ministries including Education, Health, Infrastructure, Agriculture, and Information, among others.
Prominent among the appointments are Professor Igbekele Ajibefun as Commissioner for Education, Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, and Dr. Banji Awolowo Ajaka for Health. The move is part of the Governor’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and accelerate development across the state.
The list was released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, on July 15, 2025.
