In a major strategic move to boost mobilization ahead of the 2027 presidential election, the State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement in Ondo State, Mr. Oluwafemi Ayejusunle, led a high-powered delegation to secure the direct endorsement and backing of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
During a courtesy visit to the Governor’s Office in Akure, Ayejusunle briefed Governor Aiyedatiwa on the group’s organizational structure, grassroots outreach programs, and ongoing strategic efforts across the state’s wards and local government areas.
Speaking on behalf of the pro-Tinubu support organization, Ayejusunle commended the Governor for his exemplary leadership and for steering Ondo State in direct alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He emphasized that the group is intensifying its door-to-door awareness campaigns to guarantee an overwhelming victory for the President and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
“We are expanding our grassroots footprint to every constituency in Ondo,” Ayejusunle stated during the address, pledging that the City Boy Movement will serve as a key driver of voter mobilization for the President.
In response, Governor Aiyedatiwa warmly welcomed the delegation, praising Ayejusunle’s leadership for sustaining robust advocacy for the administration. The Governor formally proclaimed the “Ondo For Tinubu 2027” initiative and committed the full weight of the state government machinery behind Ayejusunle’s group and all aligned support networks.
Governor Aiyedatiwa noted that his administration’s key delivery in infrastructure, job creation, and youth empowerment projects will serve as the strong leverage Ayejusunle’s movement needs to secure massive votes at the polls.
The delegation, led by Ayejusunle alongside co-coordinator Hon. Tomide Akinribido, met with top state officials including Deputy Governor Dr. Olayide Adelami, Secretary to the State Government Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, and Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing Engr. Abiola Olawoye.
