The Ondo State chapter of the City Boy Movement (CBM) has declared its total commitment to delivering a decisive victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The declaration was made by CBM State Director, Hon. Oluwafemi Ayejusunle, during a high-level strategic meeting with the newly elected Ondo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, on Tuesday in Akure, the state capital.
In his remarks, Hon. Ayejusunle congratulated Hon. Babatunde on his emergence as APC State Chairman and pledged the movement’s unwavering backing.
He assured the party leadership that CBM would work in close synergy with the APC structure to mobilize grassroots support across all local government areas, ensuring a resounding success for the President in 2027.
Responding, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde warmly welcomed the CBM delegation, describing its members as valued partners in political progress.
The party chairman praised President Tinubu for his sustained efforts toward economic revitalization and critical infrastructure development across the nation.
Addressing internal party dynamics, Hon. Babatunde outlined his ongoing initiatives to foster unity within the Ondo APC, emphasizing the importance of bringing all members on board, particularly those dissatisfied following the recent primary elections.
He stressed that collective harmony and inclusive leadership remain crucial to consolidating the party’s strength ahead of future electoral contests.
The delegation led by Hon. Ayejusunle included key CBM officials: State Coordinator Hon. Tomide Akinribido, State Women Leader Hon. Olawumi Fayemi-Obayelu, and Director of Party Affairs Hon. Temitope Ajayi Favour, who also serves as Chairman of Ijare Local Council Development Area.
