The Executive Chairman of Akure North Local Government, Hon. Ogunbolude Johnson, has extended warm congratulations to the Ogbolu of Ita-Ogbolu, Oba Idowu Faborode Aroko, on the historic occasion of his 80th birthday and 40th anniversary on the throne of his forefathers.
In an official statement released on Sunday, August 2, 2026, Hon. Johnson joined the royal family, the people of Ita-Ogbolu, and the entire residents of Akure North to celebrate the revered traditional ruler, describing his four-decade reign as a period of monumental development and progress for the community.
Hon. Johnson, who praised the royal father’s leadership, lauded Oba Aroko for his profound wisdom, cultural preservation, and dedication to peace within the local government area.
”Kabiyesi is a leader filled with divine wisdom and knowledge—truly a Solomon of our time,” the statement read. “His capacity for exemplary leadership is evident in how he has successfully steered the affairs of Ita-Ogbolu and guided the Akure North Council of Obas as its Chairman.”
The council boss highlighted the traditional ruler’s immense contributions to upholding local heritage and fostering unity, praying for continued health, strength, and divine direction as the monarch continues his reign.
