The State Public Relations Officer of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ondo State Chapter, Comrade Olaleye Oluwafemi Samuel, has commended the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, over the appointment of the state NYCN Chairman, Engr. Omomowo Babatunde (OWOTO), as Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor.
Speaking with newsmen in Akure, Olaleye described the Governor’s decision to appoint a vibrant youth leader into his administration as a clear indication of his commitment to placing young people at the center of state governance.
According to Olaleye, the appointment demonstrates genuine concern by Governor Aiyedatiwa for the aspirations and well-being of Ondo State youths, further reinforcing his reputation as a youth-friendly leader.
”This strategic decision by His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, shows that he genuinely has the interests of Ondo State youths at the very heart of his administration,” Olaleye stated. “By appointing our Chairman, Engr. Omomowo Babatunde, as Special Assistant, the Governor has once again proved that he believes in the leadership capacity and potential of young people in our state.”
Olaleye added that he is fully confident the appointment will serve as a strong catalyst to rally the entire youth population across the state behind the current administration.
”I am very sure that Engr. Omomowo’s appointment will definitely galvanize the necessary support, energy, and dedication of youths across all eighteen local government areas for the overall success and progress of the Aiyedatiwa administration,” he noted.
He urged young people in the state to remain supportive of the administration’s policies and programs aimed at promoting youth development and good governance across Ondo State.
