In a move celebrated as a major win for youth empowerment and gender inclusion, the State Public Relations Officer of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ondo State Chapter, Comrade Olaleye Oluwafemi Samuel, has lauded the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, following the political appointment of former State Chairman of the council, Comr. Owoeye Oluwatoyin.
Speaking with newsmen in Akure, Olaleye highlighted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s choice to elevate a distinguished female youth leader into his administration reflects a progressive leadership style that prioritizes both young people and gender mainstreaming in governance.
Olaleye described the appointment of Comr. Owoeye, a seasoned administrator and trailblazing former leader of the state youth body, as proof that the Governor keeps the welfare and political growth of Ondo State youths at the absolute core of his development agenda.
”This appointment is a clear demonstration of His Excellency’s commitment to visionary and inclusive governance,” Olaleye stated. “By giving a proven, dynamic female youth leader like Comr. Owoeye Oluwatoyin a place in his administration, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has shown once again that he is not only youth-friendly, but also deeply committed to empowering capable women in leadership.”
The PRO expressed strong conviction that Owoeye’s track record and standing among the youth constituency will yield positive results for the state.
”I am completely confident that her appointment will serve as a powerful catalyst to energize, inspire, and mobilize the youth demographic, especially young women across all 18 local government areas, to offer their total support for the victory and progress of the Aiyedatiwa administration,” Olaleye concluded.
