The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has officially launched its nationwide recruitment drive, opening positions for qualified Nigerians across entry-level cadres and specialized professional fields.
The recruitment notice, released by the anti-graft agency, is designed to bolster the Commission’s operational capacity and technical workforce in the fight against financial crimes.
Available Positions and Criteria
1. Assistant Superintendent of EFCC II (GL 08)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND).
- Requirements: Evidence of NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- Age Limit: 18 – 30 years.
2. Inspector of EFCC II (GL 06)
- Qualification: National Diploma (ND) or National Certificate in Education (NCE).
- Age Limit: 18 – 27 years.
3. Detective Assistant II (GL 04)
- Qualification: Minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
- Age Limit: 18 – 25 years.
4. Professionals and Skilled Workers
- Qualification: Degree, HND, or relevant technical certifications across fields such as Medicine, Law, ICT, Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, Media, HR, Finance, and Driving.
- Age Limit: 18 – 40 years.
Basic Entry Requirements
Applicants must be Nigerian citizens, possess basic computer literacy, be certified medically fit by a recognized government hospital, and have no prior criminal record.
For cadet cadres, candidates are required to be single. The minimum height standard is set at 1.67 metres for male applicants and 1.64 metres for female applicants. Candidates with body tattoos will be disqualified.

The Commission emphasized that the application process is completely free and warned members of the public against paying money to fraudulent individuals or unauthorized recruitment agencies.
