The Chairman of Akure North Local Government, Hon. Ogunbolude Johnson, has commended Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for appointing several citizens from the local government area as Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs).
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, Hon. Johnson expressed his gratitude to the governor for giving the newly appointed aides the opportunity to serve at the grassroots level. He also congratulated the appointees, noting that their selection across the twelve wards of Akure North Local Government was well-deserved and based on merit.
Charging the new aides to view their appointments as a call to service, the council chairman urged them to leverage the opportunity to help Governor Aiyedatiwa fulfill his promises to the people of Ondo State and Akure North in particular.
Hon. Johnson further advised the appointees to remain loyal, committed, and dedicated to the All Progressives Congress (APC), while rallying efforts to secure victory for all party candidates in the upcoming general elections.
