The City Boy Movement in Ondo State has expressed appreciation to the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, following his donation of three vehicles to support the group’s activities in the state.
The donation, which comprises one bus and two Toyota Sienna vehicles, was described by the group as a demonstration of the minister’s commitment to youth mobilization and grassroots engagement.
In a statement issued by the leadership of the movement, members said the gesture would strengthen their operational capacity and enhance their outreach programmes across Ondo State.
The group also stated that the donation reflects the minister’s confidence in the leadership of the City Boy Movement and its role in mobilising young people in support of the policies and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, including the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to the statement, the vehicles will be deployed to facilitate the movement’s activities, improve engagement with members across the state, and support grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of future political activities.
The City Boy Movement further commended the minister for what it described as his continued investment in youth development and pledged to make judicious use of the vehicles.
The group prayed for greater wisdom, strength and success for the minister as he continues to serve the nation in his capacity as Minister of Youth Development.
