Award-winning Nigerian music star, Davido, has stirred reactions on social media after visiting the site of his alleged multi-billion naira mansion currently under development at Eko Atlantic City in Lagos.
The luxury property, reportedly valued at over ₦100 billion upon completion, is said to feature about 20 rooms, an underground garage capable of accommodating 20 vehicles, and a Caribbean inspired architectural design overlooking the Atlantic coastline.
Videos and photos circulating online showed the singer inspecting the massive construction site alongside associates and project handlers, further fueling conversations about
the scale and grandeur of the development.
Speaking during the visit, Davido reportedly revealed that he initially acquired the waterfront land for ₦4 billion, adding that the property has now appreciated significantly in value.
“I bought the land for ₦4bn, now it’s worth over ₦8bn,” the singer was quoted as saying during the inspection.
The revelation has since generated widespread reactions from fans and entertainment enthusiasts, many of whom praised the singer for investing heavily in real estate despite his success in the music industry.
Industry observers say the development reflects the growing trend of Nigerian celebrities diversifying their wealth into luxury properties and high value investments.

Although Davido has yet to officially release details of the mansion project, close associates described the property as one of the biggest celebrity residential projects currently under construction in Lagos.
