President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has forwarded a list of three ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmation.
The nominees include:
- Kayode Are from Ogun State
- Aminu Dalhatu from Jigawa State
- Ayodele Oke from Oyo State
The submission follows constitutional procedures, giving the Senate the responsibility to vet and confirm the nominees before they are formally appointed as ambassadors.
This move is part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s diplomatic representation abroad. The Senate is expected to schedule the screening sessions in the coming days.
