Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work on the ongoing construction of the new Ondo State Judiciary Complex in Akure.
The Governor made this known on Saturday during an unscheduled inspection visit to the project site, accompanied by the Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engr. Abiola Olawoye.
The Judiciary Complex, named after former Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, was flagged off on December 27, 2024, with a 48-week completion target.
The facility is expected to house a ceremonial court, modular courts, registry, library, exhibition halls, utility buildings, and modern parking facilities to enhance judicial operations in the state.
Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the contractor for maintaining high construction standards and staying within schedule and budget. He affirmed that the project would be delivered as planned.
“I am happy with how the project is going. From what I have seen today, the work is progressing very fast with high quality, and this indicates that the project will be completed as scheduled,” the Governor stated.
The Governor visited the project site after attending the Ondo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting at the High Court Complex, which has been adjourned to June 4, 2025, for judgment
