The National Union of Okitipupa Local Government Students (NUOLGS), National Headquarters, has commended the leadership of the City Boy Movement (CBM) in Ondo State, describing it as exemplary and youth-focused.
The commendation came during a courtesy visit led by the National President of the union, Adeoye Omoleminu, to the State Director of the movement, Femi Ayejusunle.
Speaking during the visit, Omoleminu praised Ayejusunle for his commitment to youth development and for serving as a role model to students, particularly those from Okitipupa Local Government Area. He noted that the CBM Director’s leadership style continues to inspire young people to pursue excellence while maintaining strong ties with their roots.
In his response, Ayejusunle expressed appreciation for the visit and encouraged members of the union to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to their aspirations. He also acknowledged the efforts of the NUOLGS leadership in promoting the welfare and development of students.
The delegation also visited the Director of Special Duties of the movement, Oriade Abiodun, congratulating him on his appointment and his contributions to youth engagement as Youth Coordinator (South).
Omoleminu described Abiodun as a passionate youth advocate, noting his continued support for initiatives aimed at improving student welfare. In his remarks, Abiodun commended the NUOLGS leadership for its progress and reaffirmed the movement’s commitment to creating opportunities for young people through empowerment programmes, bursaries, and scholarship schemes.
The visit, according to the union, is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between student bodies and youth-driven organisations, with a view to fostering growth, development, and opportunities for students in Okitipupa and beyond.
