The Chairman of Akure North Local Government, Johnson Ogunbolude, on Monday inspected the ongoing renovation work at the General Hospital in Iju/Ita-Ogbolu as part of efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the area.
During the visit, the council boss interacted with medical staff and community members, assuring them that the renovation project would be completed promptly to enhance the quality of services at the facility.
Ogunbolude also commended the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his proactive approach toward improving healthcare infrastructure across the state, particularly the renovation of the general hospital.
According to him, the facility will undergo a significant transformation and provide better working conditions for staff as well as improved healthcare services for residents once the renovation is completed.
He expressed optimism that the hospital would soon wear a new look and meet the healthcare needs of residents of Iju/Ita-Ogbolu and surrounding communities.
