The Chairman of Akure North Local Government, Hon. Ogunbolude Johnson, has congratulated the Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Funmi Dapo-Filani, on the occasion of her birthday, describing her as a dependable leader and a woman of exceptional value.
In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, Ogunbolude joined residents and stakeholders across Akure North Local Government in celebrating Dapo-Filani, commending her contributions to governance and community development.
The council chairman described the vice chairman as “a jewel of inestimable value” whose capacity, courage, commitment and loyalty have distinguished her in public service and political leadership.
According to him, Dapo-Filani has consistently demonstrated unwavering support for the administration and has remained committed to the progress of the local government through dedicated service and effective collaboration.
Ogunbolude also praised her advocacy for women empowerment and inclusion, noting that her efforts have positively impacted many women within Akure North and beyond.
“Your unwavering support, commitment, dedication and loyalty have distinguished you among your peers. Your advocacy for women in Akure North Local Government and beyond is commendable and worthy of emulation,” he stated.
The chairman prayed for God’s continued guidance, protection and blessings upon the vice chairman as she marks another year, wishing her good health, prosperity and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
He further expressed appreciation for her loyalty and contributions to the success of the administration, urging her to continue her service to humanity and grassroots development.
