A party loyalist and grassroots mobiliser, Shola Elekan, has announced plans to formally present himself to the people of Akoko North West Constituency 1 as part of ongoing consultations ahead of his political ambition.
Elekan disclosed that the engagement, scheduled for April 21 in Ajowa, is aimed at deepening interaction with stakeholders and residents while outlining his vision for the constituency.
He noted that the process of stakeholder and leadership consultations within the party was nearing completion, expressing appreciation to those who have shown confidence in his aspiration, as well as those who have offered alternative views.
According to him, both support and constructive criticism remain vital to strengthening the democratic process and shaping a people-oriented agenda.
Elekan assured constituents of his commitment to direct and personal engagement, stating that efforts were underway to reach individuals and groups he had not yet met, in order to clearly communicate his plans and the value he intends to bring to the constituency.
Described as an information technology professional with extensive experience, Elekan has also been recognised for empowering individuals through skills development and community initiatives, positioning himself as a candidate focused on grassroots impact and inclusive representation.
