The City Boy Movement in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State has inaugurated a new set of executives following its first official executive meeting, aimed at strengthening grassroots coordination and advancing the objectives of the group.
The meeting, described as a milestone in the movement’s local structure, focused on strategies to promote unity, growth, and effective leadership within the organization.
At the event, the newly appointed executives were formally unveiled. They include Dayo Dairo as Assistant Coordinator, Olatunji Olarinde as General Secretary, Akinbila Olabode as Assistant Secretary, Akinnubi Michael as Treasurer, and Omotunise Ayodeji as Organizing Secretary.
Others are Sajo Oluwakemi as Publicity Secretary, Olarewaju Ayodeji as Youth Coordinator, Temitope George as Women Coordinator, Prince Adeoye Omoleminu as Director of Students Mobilization, and Mudinat Abdulganiyu as Welfare Director.
Addressing the gathering, the Local Government Coordinator, Hon. Prince Oluwaseun Akinnubi, congratulated the new executives and urged them to uphold the values of unity, loyalty, and dedication. He emphasized that teamwork and a shared vision are critical to the success of the movement.
In his remarks, the General Secretary, Akogun Olarinde Williams, stressed the importance of building capable and visionary leaders committed to service. He called for strategic planning, discipline, and collective effort among members to drive the movement forward.
Also speaking, the Director of Students Directorate and Mobilization, Prince Adeoye Omoleminu, commended the leadership of the movement at all levels for their commitment and guidance. He underscored the role of students as a vital force in sustaining the vision of the organization, urging continued engagement and mobilization.
Other members of the executive council expressed their commitment to the success of the movement, pledging to work collaboratively to achieve its goals.
The Publicity Secretary, Sajo Oluwakemi, reaffirmed her commitment to promoting the movement’s image and ensuring effective communication across all platforms.
The meeting ended on an optimistic note, with members expressing readiness to work together to strengthen the movement and expand its impact across Okitipupa Local Government Area.
