The City Boy Movement in Ondo State has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Nigeria and the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In a press statement issued by its State Director, Femi Ayejusunle, the group described Ramadan as a period of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, charity, and self-discipline, while giving thanks to Almighty Allah for the grace to witness another Eid celebration.
The group noted that the season serves as a reminder of the core values of unity, compassion, tolerance, and collective progress, which are essential for national development. It urged Nigerians to sustain the virtues of patience, generosity, and empathy beyond the fasting period.
Reaffirming its support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the movement commended the Renewed Hope Agenda, stating that ongoing policies aimed at economic recovery, improved security, infrastructure development, and inclusive growth are already yielding positive results.
The statement called on Nigerians, regardless of religious affiliation, to rally behind the government’s efforts in building a stronger and more prosperous nation.
The group also urged citizens to use the festive period to pray for peace, stability, and continued progress in the country, while wishing Muslims abundant blessings, good health, and prosperity.
It concluded with prayers for Allah to accept the acts of worship observed during Ramadan, forgive shortcomings, and guide the nation’s leaders aright.
