Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of new Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, a Director-General, a Special Assistant, and members of the Ondo State Law Commission, as part of efforts to strengthen governance and fast-track the implementation of his administration’s OUR EASE development agenda.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Friday, the Governor announced the appointments, charging the new appointees to bring their experience and dedication to bear in advancing the administration’s policies and programmes.
Among those appointed as Special Advisers are:
- Hon. Olugbenga Omole (Transport)
- Comrade Gani Mohammed (Special Duties and Strategy)
- Allen Sowore (Communication and Strategy)
- Dr. Summy Smart Francis (Entrepreneurship & Innovation)
- Dr. Tunji Rhema (Environment)
- Mrs. Kikelomo Ikuomola (Public Affairs & Inter-Governmental Relations)
- Engr. Wale Aladenusi (Marine & Blue Economy)
- Hon. Kolawole Babatunde (Legislative and Party Affairs)
- Hon. Igbekele Akinrinwa (Local Government Affairs)
Engr. Razaq Obe was appointed as Director-General, Performance and Project Implementation Monitoring Unit (PPIMU).
The Governor also named several Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) across key sectors including print media, community engagement, education, religion, revenue, oil and gas, and mobilisation, reflecting a broad-based approach to governance.
In addition, Mr. Sam Bolala was appointed as Special Assistant on Environmental Health.
The appointments also extended to the Ondo State Law Commission, where Mr. Femi Okunjemiruwa, Esq. will serve as Chairman, alongside members Rotimi Omosua, Esq.; Raymond Olaleye Ogunmoyero, Esq.; Oladehingbe Sunday, Esq.; and Tope Olajube, Esq.
Governor Aiyedatiwa urged all appointees to align their duties with the administration’s vision for inclusive growth, innovation, and effective service delivery, emphasizing that their collective efforts will be instrumental in achieving the OUR EASE agenda , focusing on Opportunity, Unity, Reform, Empowerment, Agriculture, Security, and Education.
