As part of activities leading up to the 2025 Bamidele Omosehin Foundation (BOF) Unity Cup, a Football Clinic was held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Methodist High School, Okitipupa, Ondo State, bringing together football stakeholders, club representatives, and match officials in preparation for the prestigious grassroots tournament.
The event, organized under the leadership of High Chief Bamidele Omosehin, featured key resource persons including Mr. Goke Akinbi, Mr. Raji K.T., and Mr. Adebusoye Ola, who delivered insightful sessions on officiating standards, fair play, and modern football management.
A total of 22 football teams were screened and cleared to participate in the 6th edition of the Unity Cup, which aims to promote peace, youth development, and sporting excellence across Okitipupa and Irele Local Government Areas.
The clinic was attended by representatives of all participating clubs, members of the BOF Local Organizing Committee (LOC), as well as officials from the Okitipupa and Irele Football Associations and the Referees’ Association.
According to the organizers, the 2025 BOF Unity Cup tournament is scheduled to kick off officially on November 10, 2025, with expectations high for another thrilling display of football talent and community spirit.
