Ace broadcast journalist, Ayodeji Moradeyo of TVC News, has been honoured with the Hero’s Magazine Media Man of the Year Award 2025, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to journalism and media excellence in Nigeria.
The colourful ceremony, which took place at the International Culture and Events Centre (The Dome) in Akure, Ondo State, brought together eminent personalities from across the country. Moradeyo was one of nine distinguished Nigerians celebrated at the 18th edition of the annual awards.
Chairman of the occasion, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Olu of Ilu Abo, Oba Olu Falae, underscored the importance of celebrating individuals who have excelled in their chosen fields, while lamenting the tendency to overlook the contributions of outstanding citizens.
Representing Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Fasoranti, congratulated the honourees and reiterated the administration’s commitment to human capital development and improved security.
Moradeyo, who began his journalism career in 2003 with Galaxy Television, has worked with National Mirror, 235Next, Niger Delta Standard, and National Life Newspaper, before joining TVC Communications 14 years ago. He has since carved a niche for himself as a dedicated media professional.

- Prince Adedeji Adesida – Community Development Influencer of the Year 2023
- Mr. Ajayi Oluwafemi Michael – Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year
- Mr. Simon Adegun – Personality in Education of the Year 2025
- Mr. Adebiyi Alex Adedipe – Outstanding Business Personality of the Year 2025
Publisher of Hero’s Magazine, Sunday Akinbiola, explained that the awardees were carefully selected through a rigorous screening and voting process designed to honour excellence, leadership, and service to humanity.
The event was graced by prominent traditional rulers and dignitaries, including the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye; the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi; Ondo State Attorney General, Dr. Kayode Ajulo; MD of Benin Owena River Basin Authority, Dr. Femi Adekanmbi; and Founder of Dorian Home for Charity, Dr. Tolulola Bayode.
