As Christians across the globe mark Easter, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, has extended warm felicitations to Christian faithful, especially journalists in the state.
In a message signed by its Chairman, Leke Adegbite, and State Secretary, Olaoluwa Meshack, the Union encouraged Christians to reflect on the lessons of the Lenten season and draw inspiration from the sacrifice, humility, and love demonstrated by Jesus Christ.
The NUJ emphasized the need for renewed prayers for peace and security in Ondo State and divine intervention in Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges. It also charged journalists to remain dedicated to truth and service to humanity, even in trying times.
While urging Nigerians to stay hopeful despite economic hardships, the Union noted that the Easter spirit symbolizes victory through faith and endurance.
