Tokunbo Akinyelure-Led ODSFA Caretaker Committee Commends Governor Aiyedatiwa’s Appointment, Reaffirms Commitment To Football Development
The newly appointed caretaker manager and welfare officer of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA),Mr. Tokunbo Akinyelure, has expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his unwavering support and commitment to the growth of football in the state.
Speaking on behalf of the newly appointed caretaker team after a strategic meeting held at the agency’s headquarters Oda Road in Akure, Mr. Akinyelure described Governor Aiyedatiwa as a visionary leader whose passion for youth and sports development remains evident through his continuous backing of ODSFA’s programmes and activities.
He noted that the recent interventions and support from the state government have further energized the agency’s drive towards repositioning Sunshine Stars FC and other football development initiatives in the state.
“We are indeed grateful to His Excellency, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for the appointment,genuine interest, and investment in football development.
He assured the governor and football-loving people of the state that the current ODSFA leadership remains committed to driving initiatives that will not only develop football talents but also promote professionalism, discipline, and excellence across all levels of the game in the state.
Akinyelure also called on all stakeholders fans, corporate bodies, and sports enthusiasts to continue supporting the agency to restore the glory of Sunshine Stars FC, Sunshine Queens among others.
