The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ondo State Chapter, has congratulated the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on the occasion of his 61st birthday, describing the milestone as a celebration of purposeful leadership and service to humanity.
In a congratulatory message issued in Akure and signed by the Chairman of the Association, Mr. Segun Giwa, SWAN noted that the Governor’s 61st birthday is not only a celebration of longevity but also a recognition of a life dedicated to public service, leadership and the continuous pursuit of development for the people of Ondo State.
The association praised Governor Aiyedatiwa’s journey in public service, describing it as one marked by humility, resilience and unwavering commitment to the growth and stability of the state.
“As sports writers and stakeholders in youth development, we particularly commend your administration’s support for sports development and youth empowerment,” the statement read.
According to SWAN, the Governor’s interventions in sports and youth-related programmes have continued to inspire hope, promote talent discovery and provide platforms for excellence across Ondo State.
The association further described Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership style as inclusive and progressive, noting that it has strengthened public confidence in governance and contributed to sustainable development in the state.
SWAN prayed that Almighty God grants the Governor good health, renewed strength, divine wisdom and greater success as he continues to steer the affairs of Ondo State towards prosperity and sustainable growth.
The association wished the Governor a happy 61st birthday and many more years of impactful service to the state and humanity.
