Norway stunned five-time champions Brazil 2-1, with Erling Haaland delivering another outstanding performance, while England defeated Mexico 3-2 in a thrilling contest to keep their hopes of lifting the trophy alive.
One quarter-final place remains undecided, with Argentina set to face Egypt, while Switzerland will battle Colombia in the remaining Round of 16 fixtures. The winners of those matches will meet in the final quarter-final.
