Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded firmly to the recent missile attack launched by Iran, declaring that the Islamic Republic will “regret” its actions.
Addressing the situation during a security cabinet meeting late Tuesday, Netanyahu stated, “Iran made a big mistake tonight and will pay for it. Whoever attacks us, we attack them.”
The Israeli military reported that while many of the incoming missiles were intercepted by air defenses, some did manage to strike central and southern Israel.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the attack. Rear Adm Daniel Hagari, the military’s spokesperson, echoed Netanyahu’s sentiment, emphasizing that “this strike will have consequences.”
In light of the attack, Hagari urged the public to heed safety guidelines issued by the army, reinforcing the need for vigilance amid ongoing tensions.
As Israel braces for potential repercussions, the government’s resolve to respond decisively against threats remains clear.
