A whooping sum of 300 million naira donation as been announced by Nigerian afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido to orphanages across the country.
Davido disclosed this in a post shared on his X, formerly Twitter, handle on Tuesday. He added that he will share details of the disbursement on Wednesday.
Davido along with his foundation, David Adeleke Foundation annually made donations to orphanages.
He wrote, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation ❤️ .. details of disbursement tomorrow.”
Davido has been consistent in providing humanitarian support to the needy in Nigeria especially children.
He achieve similar feat in November 2021 by donating N250m to over 290 Orphanages, in commemoration of his 29th birthday.
Also in July 2023, the musician was also reported to have donated N237 million to over 400 orphanages in Nigeria.
