The Deputy Governor of Ondo state, Hon Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa has been sworn in as the Governor of Ondo state following the demise of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu after battling Prostate Cancer.
It was earlier reported that Akeredolu died in the early hours of Wednesday far away Germany where he was flown for intensive medical treatment.
Political activities in the state are expected to take a new turn under the leadership of the newly sworn in governor even as the 2024 governorship becons.
Burial arrangements of the departed Political Enigma, Akeredolu will be announced by the family later.
