An Akwa Ibom Born Chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey has broken the Guiness World Record for the longest cooking Marathon by an Individual.
As at 7:46am this morning, Hilda has cooked for a duration of 87 hours, 46 mins to beat the current World Record holder, Chef Lata Tondon who recorded 87 hours 45mins.
Hilda commenced cooking since 4pm on Thursday May 11, 2023 in Amore Gardens Lekki, Lagos state and is expected to complete the task 4pm this evening. She’s set to raise the bar to 97 hours.
So far, Hilda has cooked over 110 Nigerian Delicacies and served 3000 persons.
