Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly prepared to sell Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen if Barcelona meet the club’s €80 million valuation for the prolific forward.
Reports from European transfer sources indicate that the Spanish La Liga side has intensified its search for a top striker ahead of the next transfer window, with Osimhen emerging as one of the club’s priority targets.
Barcelona are believed to be monitoring the 26-year-old’s performances closely as they seek to strengthen their attacking options.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray in 2025 in a record-breaking deal from Italian side Napoli, quickly establishing himself as a key figure in the club’s attack. His impressive goal-scoring form and physical presence have continued to attract interest from several top European clubs.
Sources suggest Galatasaray inserted a significant release clause in Osimhen’s contract, reportedly pegged at €80 million, which could allow the Turkish champions to make substantial profit from the Nigerian international should Barcelona or any interested club trigger the clause.
Despite the growing transfer speculation, neither Galatasaray nor Barcelona has made any official statement regarding a possible deal. Osimhen remains focused on helping Galatasaray achieve domestic and continental success this season.
The Super Eagles forward has maintained his status as one of Africa’s most valuable football exports, with his performances continuing to place him among Europe’s most sought-after strikers.
