Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have bolstered their attacking options with the acquisition of forward Promise Awosanmi on a season-long loan from Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Sunshine Stars.
The talented striker, who was Sunshine Stars’ top scorer last season with five goals, joins the Oluyole Warriors as they prepare for a competitive campaign in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). Known for his pace, strength, and eye for goal, Awosanmi is expected to bring much-needed firepower to the Ibadan-based club.
Awosanmi has already made a name for himself in the top flight, having racked up 62 NPFL appearances for the Owena Waves since breaking into the senior team.
His move to 3SC marks a fresh chapter in his career and he is widely expected to feature prominently in the club’s plans for the upcoming season.
