The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Okitipupa Local Government Area took a bold step toward party consolidation and electoral preparedness with a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
The gathering, described as a joyful and unifying moment, brought together key political figures and coalition leaders ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at the meeting, Hon. Oluwanbe Ogunbameru, Chairman of ADC in Okitipupa LGA, expressed deep appreciation to party leaders and loyalists for their commitment, while urging for unity and cooperation across party lines.
“Our doors are open just like the police station—never closed,” Ogunbameru said. “The ADC logo, a handshake, represents our love for all and our readiness to embrace new members, whether from political or non-political backgrounds.”
Prominent leaders in attendance included High Chief Adekanmi (Kunma Crete Liha of Idepe Okitipupa), Chief Oyedele Ibine (former PDP State Secretary), Elder Fadope (PDP Senatorial Chairman), Chief Oboli (Araba of Ode-Aye), High Chief Adetokunbo Adeniji (Labour Party Senatorial Chairman), Chief Eyibobola (former member, Ondo State House of Assembly), Chief Odunwo, Evangelist Olowokanga, Chief Omotayo Obolo Mitchell, Hon. Iyioba Olumide (aka Olu P.A), Elder Tobi Akindele, all ADC Ward Chairmen and Women Leaders, Mr. Kunle Ogundeji (ADC Okitipupa Secretary), and other executive members.
In their remarks, the leaders unanimously pledged their support for ADC’s leadership and strategy. They vowed to work collectively to rescue Nigerians from the socio-economic hardship imposed by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
“We will show them how true governance is done,” one of the leaders declared, echoing the group’s strong resolve to bring about change in 2027 through unity, grassroots mobilization, and people-centered leadership.
