The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, has congratulated Prince Ademola Olapade on his emergence as the new Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Ondo State.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the State Secretary of NUJ, Olaoluwa Meshack, conveyed the heartfelt congratulations of the union’s Chairman, Prince Leke Adegbite, and its members.
The statement commended Olapade for his resilience, dedication, and humility, which have endeared him to workers across the state and contributed to his landslide victory in the bye-election held on Friday in Akure.
“We have no doubt in your ability to continuously protect and defend the interests of workers in Ondo State and take the NLC to greater heights,” the statement read.
The NUJ expressed confidence in Olapade’s leadership and wished him success in his new role.
