“True leadership is about service to humanity, and giving back is a duty, not a choice,” says Chief Bamidele Omosehin, the Lisa of Osooro Kingdom and a renowned philanthropist, as he marks his birthday on February 14, which coincides with the celebration of Saint Valentine, with a series of humanitarian activities.
As part of the celebration, the Bamidele Omosehin Foundation (BOF), founded by Chief Omosehin, will embark on a community outreach program aimed at touching lives across various sectors.
According to the program coordinator, Mr Femi Kalejaye, the initiative will see the distribution of foodstuff, groceries, and toiletries to orphanage homes, prisons, hospitals, Iju-Odo community.
Chief Omosehin, known for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the less privileged, emphasized the importance of supporting those in need.
“There is no greater joy than seeing smiles on the faces of people who have lost hope. This is not just a birthday celebration; it is an opportunity to uplift others and make a real difference in their lives,” he stated.
