Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has reaffirmed the state’s steady progress towards all-round development and prosperity as it marks its 49th anniversary.
In a message to the people, Governor Aiyedatiwa paid tribute to the founding fathers for their courage and foresight in shaping the state’s growth since its creation on February 3, 1976, by the military administration of General Murtala Muhammed.
The Governor emphasized his administration’s commitment to building on past legacies and harnessing the state’s potential for the benefit of all residents.
He also called for continued support from the people as he leads the state towards a brighter future.
As Ondo State approaches its 50th anniversary, Governor Aiyedatiwa announced plans to constitute a committee to organize the landmark Golden Jubilee celebration.
