The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ondo State chapter, has extended warm congratulations to the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Segun Giwa, and Secretary, Joseph Adesuyan, Ondo SWAN praised the governor for his dedication to public service, which has driven developmental progress across the state’s 18 local government areas.
The association highlighted the governor’s pivotal role in promoting sports and youth empowerment, describing his efforts as visionary and impactful.
“On behalf of the sports writers in Ondo State, we congratulate Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his 60th birthday,” the statement read.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa’s input in the growth and development of sports is a pragmatic testament to his visionary leadership. His focus on harnessing talents from the 18 council areas through sports and youth empowerment is noticeable and laudable,” the association noted.
They further commended the governor’s commitment to the socio-economic and political advancement of the state, emphasizing his diligence, love, and dedication to improving the lives of the people.
“We are fully assured that he will continue to develop sporting activities for the youth to excel in the state,” the statement added.
The association also wished Governor Aiyedatiwa good health, wisdom, and more years of impactful service.
“On this occasion of his 60th birthday, we wish him more years in good health and wisdom as he continues to render more service to humanity, Ondo State, and Nigeria,” they concluded.
