Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has extended warm felicitations to the Deji of Akure and Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Traditional Rulers, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a goodwill message released by the Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Saturday, Governor Aiyedatiwa lauded the monarch for his unwavering commitment to the development and progress of the state capital and Ondo State as a whole.
The Governor highlighted the pivotal role played by the traditional ruler in maintaining peace and stability in Akure over the years.
“Your Majesty, your contributions to the growth and development of Akure, coupled with your efforts in promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Akure Kingdom, are truly commendable,” the Governor stated. “The peace and calmness sustained in the state capital under your leadership have been invaluable to the progress of our dear state.”
Governor Aiyedatiwa also acknowledged the unwavering support of the Ondo State Council of Obas, chaired by the Deji, for his administration over the past year.
He described the partnership between the traditional institution and the government as a significant factor in fostering unity and harmony across the state.
The Governor expressed his heartfelt prayers for Oba Aladetoyinbo, wishing him a long and prosperous reign on the throne of his forebears.
“It is my prayer that you continue to enjoy good health and wisdom as you lead the people of Akure Kingdom into greater heights,” he added.
