In a significant shakeup, the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has dissolved the Kunle Adebayo-led Board and management of the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation (OSRC). The announcement was made in a statement issued by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, on December 18, 2024.
Governor Aiyedatiwa has appointed Mr. Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson as the new Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the OSRC. The dissolved board and management have been directed to hand over all government properties in their care to the new DG with immediate effect.
“The Governor appreciates the dedication and services rendered by the former chairman and members of the board and management,” said Prince Adeniyan. “He wishes them well in their future endeavours.”
The Governor expressed confidence in the leadership capabilities of Mr. Odusola-Stevenson, charging him to reposition the station for greater impact.
This change is seen as part of the administration’s efforts to revamp state-owned media and enhance the dissemination of accurate and timely information across Ondo State.
