Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State received an overwhelming endorsement from traditional rulers and residents during his campaign tour of Ese Odo Local Government ahead of the November 16 governorship election.
The Governor visited several communities on Tuesday, engaging with traditional leaders, religious figures, and enthusiastic residents who expressed strong support for his re-election bid.
At Bolowo, His Royal Highness, Judge Ugulapelewei Jemine, the Anananawe of Bolowou, praised the Governor’s administration for its development projects across Ondo State.
“We are not surprised by the infrastructural progress we see today because we saw it coming. Your administration has always shown a clear commitment to the people, and we are pleased to see those promises materialize,” he remarked.
The monarch further expressed gratitude for the appointment of individuals from their communities to political offices, signaling the Governor’s recognition of their value.
While expressing support for the Governor’s re-election, the monarch highlighted the need for further attention to education and healthcare in the region. He added,
“We offer you our blessings for a victorious outcome in the coming election. Be assured that the people of Bolowo stand firmly with you.”
During the campaign, Governor Aiyedatiwa also visited religious leaders, including Rt. Rev. Princewill Epistle Jemine, the General Overseer of Zion Mission, who promised continuous prayers for the Governor’s success. At each stop, the Governor was greeted by large crowds and community leaders who pledged their support, including High Chief Bibopere Ajube, a prominent figure in Ese Odo.
The Governor also received blessings from His Imperial Majesty, Pere Z.D. Egbunu, the Agadagba of Arogbo Kingdom. At various stops, including Kiribo, Igbotu, and Igbobini, Governor Aiyedatiwa reassured residents of his commitment to continuing developmental projects if re-elected.
“I want to thank you for your patience. I salute your love, unity, and support for us and the party. I’ll reciprocate this gesture after the election,” the Governor said, urging residents to vote en masse for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He emphasized the importance of unity and continued progress, promising that his administration would maintain its focus on education, healthcare, infrastructure, and security.
The campaign tour ended with high spirits, with Governor Aiyedatiwa expressing gratitude for the widespread support and endorsements he received across Ese Odo Local Government.
