The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, concluded the third leg of his senatorial campaign in Ondo South on Wednesday with a rally at Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area.
The event saw a massive turnout of supporters as the Governor vowed to continue delivering impactful projects if re-elected.
Addressing the crowd, Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed his commitment to the state’s development.
“You haven’t seen anything yet,” he said. “There are more developmental projects coming, and I am committed to transforming every part of this state.”
The Governor emphasized the unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and urged the people to vote for the party on November 16.
“The APC remains a united, indivisible family, and every leader in our party is focused on a single goal, which is our victory on November 16,” he declared. “I urge you to translate your support into votes for the APC so we can keep moving Ondo State forward.”
Chief Olusola Oke, a prominent APC leader and former gubernatorial aspirant, expressed confidence in the party’s dominance in the southern district.
“The South belongs to the APC; the people here know the governor’s track record, and they stand firmly with him. We will deliver victory for Governor Aiyedatiwa,” Oke asserted.
Dr. Olayide Adelami, the Deputy Governor, echoed these sentiments, urging continued support for the governor’s administration.
He described it as one focused on the welfare of the people and noted the unprecedented growth experienced under Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.
Hon. Abiola Makinde, Director-General of the Aiyedatiwa Campaign, called on APC members to remain united and focused.
“This election is about progress, and we cannot afford to lose focus. Governor Aiyedatiwa has proven his capacity to lead, and with your support, we will secure victory on November 16,” Makinde said.
APC State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, assured the governor that the party is well-prepared for a statewide victory, pledging that the APC will win across all 18 local government areas.
The APC gubernatorial campaign will continue on Friday in Akure South Local Government.
