Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has extended warm felicitations to former Governor of the state, Dr. Olusegun Abayomi Mimiko, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
Dr. Mimiko, who served as the Governor of Ondo State from 2009 to 2017, was praised for his enduring contributions to the state’s development, particularly in the health sector.
In a statement released by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Governor Aiyedatiwa lauded Mimiko’s leadership and legacy, describing him as an “exceptional leader and statesman.”
“On behalf of the good people and government of Ondo State, I congratulate former Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Olusegun Abayomi Mimiko, on the auspicious occasion of his 70th birthday,” Governor Aiyedatiwa said.
“Dr. Mimiko, aside being a predecessor and the longest-serving governor of the State, is an exceptional leader and a statesman whose contributions to the development of the State, especially in the health sector, remain indelible.”
The Governor further expressed his admiration for Dr. Mimiko’s lasting impact on the state, stating, “I celebrate him as a living inspiration and a remarkable individual whose leadership and legacy continue to make a difference.”
Governor Aiyedatiwa also offered prayers for Mimiko’s continued good health and well-being, wishing him many more years of service and leadership.
