In a bid to enhance sanitation and waste management in Ondo State, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has approved the appointment of key members into the Ondo State Waste Management Board. The newly formed board is tasked with developing innovative strategies to revolutionize waste management in the state.
Mrs. Yinka Alabi has been appointed as the full-time Chairman of the board, while Festus Aregbesola, Dr. Tob Loko, and Hon. Aro Pelumi Bernard will serve as part-time members. The General Manager of the board will act as the Secretary.
According to Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Aiyedatiwa urged the appointees to take on the challenge of reshaping waste management practices across the state, emphasizing the need for impactful strategies to ensure cleaner environments for residents.
