The Upper chamber of the National Assembly has replaced has replaced Sen. Ali Ndume with Sen. Tahir Munguno as Senate Chief Whip.
In a voice vote, the upper chamber took the unanimous resolution to effect the replacement, after a letter of complaint against the unbecoming utterances of the chief whip, Sen. Ali Ndume by the APC National Headquarters, was read by the President of the Senate, Sen. Godswill Akpabio.
The removal of senator Ndume is unconnected in respect of unsubstantiated allegations Senator Ndume made against the Federal Government during a recent interview on a television station.
