SUNSHINE STARS BEEF UP TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT, UNDERGO MINOR SHAKE UP
The management of Sunshine Stars FC has beefed up the Club technical department with the appointment of Mr Gabriel Aborowa as Technical Director and Henry Abiodun as technical consultant.
Ondo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Saka Yusuf Ogunleye who approved the appointments said Aborowa and Abiodun are expected to bring their experience and knowledge to bear on the team.
Ogunleye stated: “Both Aborowa and Henry worked with us before now as team manager and coach respectively at numerous time. They have good knowledge of the game and experience with the team, as a result I am confident they will add value to the team.
This is a good step in the right direction as we look to turn around the fortune of our team in face of relegation. We must survive the drop, this is not negotiable at all.” Ogunleye declared at the club headquarters in Akure on Friday.
Similarly, the Commissioner has approved the redeployment of Mr Tokunbo Akinyelure from the position of general coordinator to team manager, replacing Seun Betiku who has now been drafted to head the U-17 team of Sunshine Stars.
